The Israeli military has claimed the death of Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah. He was killed in an airstrike in the Lebanese capital Beirut on Friday (September 27) evening.

"Hassan Nasrallah will no longer be able to lead terrorism in the world," said a statement shared by the Israeli military on the IDF's X account.
