Earthquake hits Bali, Indonesia |
A magnitude 4.6 earthquake struck the Indonesian island of Bali, a popular tourist destination. It happened around 9:30am on Saturday morning.
The epicenter of the quake was 11 kilometers northwest of Banjar Wangsian, near the town of Susut, north of Denpasar.
A report on the United States Geological Survey website said the quake was at a depth of 10 kilometers and shook the entire island.
The impacts have been described as mild to moderate. There have been few reports of damage so far.
