Republican front runner Donald Trump won 14 out 15 states on the Super Tuesday 2024, including the largest ones, California and Texas.
His only rival Nikki Haley struggled to win one state, Vermont. Earlier, she defeated Trump in Washington DC.
In a speech at Mar-a-Lago, Florida, Donald Trump reacts to overwhelming victory on Super Tuesday, says, "They call it Super Tuesday for a reason. This is a big one."
In his victory speech Trump also blasted Biden and vowed to unify "a very divided country."
In the meantime, President Joe Biden also cruises toward nomination Democratic Party. He isn’t facing any major competition in his party primary and continues his commanding march to the nomination.
He's won all but one of the Democratic contests so far. He was handed his first primary defeat on Tuesday in the US territory of American Samoa.
In first reaction to his strong rival Trump's landslide victory Biden said, "a second Trump term would be a return to chaos, division, and darkness."
In 2020, Trump left power after losing to the Democratic leader Joe Biden in the US presidential election.
He is running for the Republican Party nomination to participate in the November 2024 presidential election.
But with a big win on Super Tuesday on 5: March, he has advanced a lot in the race to get the Republican Party's nomination.
'Super Tuesday' is known as the most important day of primary for the Democratic and Republican parties before the presidential election.
On this 'Super Tuesday', 15 states of the United States voted for the Republican Party primaries. Democratic primaries were held in 14 states and the territory of American Samoa.
