This program signifies a notable cultural evolution as part of the broader Vision 2030 reforms, championed by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, which aim to diversify the economy and modernize society by enhancing the arts, entertainment, and educational sectors.

The initiative is being led by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Education, which are working to establish dedicated music departments within schools.
The recruited teachers, many of whom possess training in classical music, Arabic musical heritage, and contemporary styles, will instruct students in music theory, instrumental skills, and performance techniques.
