World Health Organisation (WHO) says physical inactivity leads to early death and to prevent this people need to physical exercise.

In a recent report, the World Health Organisation (WHO) has issued this stark warning.

WHO estimates that 5 millions deaths a year could be averted if global population was more active.

It said that a lack of physical activity will lead to nearly 500 million new cases of preventable major non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and premature deaths between now and 2030.

Regular physical activity cuts the risk of many types of cancer by 8–28%; heart disease and stroke by 19%; diabetes by 17%, depression and dementia by 28–32%, according to the World Health Organisation (WHO).
