According to a report by Khaleej Times, Dubai, one of the major cities in the United Arab Emirates, is set to relax laws on the purchase of alcohol or alcoholic beverages in 2023. The 30 percent tax on liquor was also removed. As a result, these drinks become more accessible to tourists and locals.

A person must be at least 21 years of age to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages everywhere in the UAE, including Dubai. No one under this age can purchase and consume alcohol.

There are other restrictions on drinking alcohol. For example, drinking alcohol is prohibited anywhere in Dubai. Drinking alcohol must be done in a restaurant or lounge. And that restaurant or lounge must have a license.

You can drink alcohol at your home or place of residence. In that case, there must be a license. Do not drive while drinking alcohol. In this case, the law is quite strict. Violation of the law will result in fines to be determined by the court. Not only this, 23 black points will be added to the driving license. And the vehicle will be impounded for 60 days.

Or one can go to a valid liquor store and apply offline to get a free license. National identity card is required for citizens of the country. Anyone can buy liquor immediately after applying.
