Why Tate brothers were detained?

Former kickboxer and now social media influencer Andrew Tate and his brother former kickboxer and actor Tristan Tate were detained on Monday night (11 March) in Bucharest.

According to media reports, Tate brothers were taken in custody on allegations of sexual aggression dating back to 2012-2015. And then they were taken to court. Hours later they were released from detention.

But human rights activists say, Andrew Tate was arrested because of raising voice against the ongoing genocide in Gaza strip of Palestine.

On Sunday in an X post Andrew Tate said, "They just got away with genocide in front of everybody and nothing happened." And hours later he was detained.

Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate can be extradited to UK

Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate can be extradited to the UK, a Romanian court has ruled.

Court said, the brothers can be extradited only after the conclusion of their separate trial in Romania on human trafficking charges.

In the meantime, in UK an arrest warrant has been issued against the two brothers. Bedfordshire Police of England said it had obtained an arrest warrant. BBC reported.
