According to local media, after the moon sighting, the Saudi Moon Sighting Committee announced in an announcement that the holy month of Ramadan will begin on Monday (March 11).

According to the Saudi Supreme Court, the moon was sighted on Sunday (March 10) evening. Through which the month of Shaban ended. Ramadan has started.

A few hours earlier, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia and Brunei announced the date of Ramadan. All these four countries have said that fasting will start from Tuesday (March 12).

On Sunday (March 10), the country's Grand Mufti confirmed that Monday (March 11) will be the last day of the month of Shaban, together with the Australian Federal Council of Imams, the Australian Fatwa Council and the Fatwa and Sharia Arbitration Council. Indonesia's Ministry of Religion has also announced that Monday will be the 30th of Shaban. So Tuesday is the first day of Ramadan.

Meanwhile, the moon sighting committees of other countries of the Arab world are preparing to sight the moon of Ramadan after Maghrib prayers on Sunday (March 10).
