Xmail is coming as alternative to Gmail?

We have been using Gmail for a long time as an email service provided by Google.

Now we are going to get a new email service very soon. Xmail is coming. 

Elon Musk, the CEO of X (formerly Twitter), has confirmed the imminent launch of Xmail.

And his announcement has sparked speculation about its potential to rival Google's Gmail service. 

Musk's announcement came swiftly after rumors of Gmail's impending shutdown spread like wildfire on the internet.

Gmail is shutting down?

Electronic mail, email or e-mail is a method of transmitting and receiving messages using electronic devices. 

It was normalized in the late–20th century as the digital version of, or counterpart to mail which was used for centuries as a medium of transmitting and receiving messages.

Email is, in current use, an email address is often treated as a basic and necessary part of many processes in business, commerce, government, education, entertainment, and other spheres of daily life in most countries.

Gmail was launched in April 1, 2004. It has more than 1.8 billion active users worldwide as of 2024 making it the largest email service in the world.
