The incident took place in Himachal Pradesh, India. According to an NDTV report, the two climbers are Abhinandan Gupta and Pranitha Wala, residents of Pathankot in Punjab state. They died while trekking at Bir Billing in Kangra, Himachal State. After that, their german shepherd dog guarded their bodies for two days.
Not only that, he tried to attract the attention of other people by barking all this time until he was rescued. Hearing his incessant barking, some people went to the spot and found the two dead explorers.
Abhinandan Gupta, 30, was involved in adventure travel like paragliding and trekking (mountaineering), a senior police official in Kangra district said on Thursday (February 8). He was trekking in the mountains of Himachal for almost four years.
A few days ago, 26-year-old Pranita Wala, a resident of Pune, and two others joined Abhinandan. They went trekking to Bir Billing which is 5000 feet high in the mountains.
Two people are believed to have died after falling from there. However, the authorities said that the cause of death will be known only after Maida's investigation.
According to the police official, the four of them drove to a place in Bir Billing. But as the weather worsened, it was not possible for them to proceed any further.
As a result, they left the car and started walking. But after some distance the two returned as the situation worsened. Stay Pranitha and Abhinandan. Then they disappeared.
The two who returned from trekking after a day reported the matter to the police station and filed a complaint. After the GD, the police started a special operation to find them.
The rescuers went towards it after hearing the barking of a dog from a place in the forested hill. He saw Abhinandan and Pranitha's dead bodies sitting on the German Shepherd.
