Elon Musk, X boss (formerly known as Twitter), Tesla CEO and world's wealthiest man, raises concerns about illegal immigrants coming in US.

In an X post on Tuesday, he said `the United States is being overwhelmed’ by illegal immigration crisis. In another post he said `illegal immigration has increased by almost 1000% over the past decade and is still rising rapidly.’

Elon made a post by sharing another post with a video that says `America's illegal immigration crisis is shattering century-old records with alarming numbers.’

The post made by the account named KanekoaTheGreat shared a figure that shows of illegal immigrants arrived in recent years.

The figure shows in the year 2023, 3,201,144 illegal immigrants have come in US which is highest in record kept in recent years.

According to figures, in 2010 the number of illegal immigrants were 463,382 and then every year the number has increased.

The figures show there were 2,766,582 illegal immigrants in the year 2022 and in 2021 the number was 859,501. The post said on President Joe Biden's inaugural day, he introduced policies that incentivize illegal immigration.

Since Biden's policy changes, over 8 million people have illegally entered the country, with millions more slipping past border patrol undetected.

It claims this surge in illegal immigration is a national security crisis, costing American taxpayers hundreds of billions per year.

Elon Musk has also joined the debate on the necessity for significant reforms in the United States' immigration process, which currently poses challenges for skilled workers seeking domestic visas.

He visited the Texas border with Mexico and met with local politicians and police with the aim of obtaining what he called an `unfiltered' view of the situation.

Musk's visit came as thousands of people have ventured to northern Mexico in recent days on freight trains and buses, then crossed the border into Texas, Arizona and California in an upswing in arrivals of people seeking asylum in the US.

The Tesla boss expressed his views on X stating, `While entering the United States illegally is trivial, it is insanely difficult for legal immigrants to relocate to the United States.'

He labeled the current system as `madness” and proposed, “We should halt illegal immigration and substantially increase legal immigration.'
