Houthis reject Trump’s Israel First Gaza peace plan

The Houthis leader has launched a fierce critique against a proposed Middle East plan presented by the US President Donald Trump, framing it as a concerted American-Israeli effort to liquidate the Palestinian national project.

‎“Trump’s so-called peace plan was presented to Netanyahu for him to add further changes to make it a plan that fully meets Israel’s demands,” Ansar Allah leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said in a TV address.

‎The American-Israeli plan never included Palestinian sovereignty over the Gaza Strip, the leader added.

‎Blasting Israel over its starvation tactics and efforts to make the Strip completely “unlivable,” the Houthi leader also praised Colombian President Gustavo Petro, who has struck up a diplomatic war with Tel Aviv, expelling Israeli diplomats and suspending a major trade agreement.

‎ “The positions of most Arab and Muslim leaders are not as progressive,” al-Houthi said.

Vowing that the Yemeni people will fight on until victory, al-Houthi warned that surrender at this juncture would mean “enemy domination, total violation, enslavement, humiliation, extermination, pillage and control.”
