A Shooting has happened on Wednesday at Kansas City Super Bowl Parade in Kansas City, Missouri. At least one person was killed and nine others injured in the shooting.
Citing Kansas City Fire Department Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins, NBC News said, of the injured, three were in critical condition, five were in serious condition and one person had non-life-threatening injuries.
In a statement the Kansas City Police Department said, two people were detained after the shooting near a garage west of Union Station.
But the department did not identify suspects. The shooting appears to be criminal in nature and not terrorism, according to a preliminary investigation, three law enforcement officials briefed on the incident said.
Authorities said, the shooting occurred after a rally on Wednesday celebrating the Chiefs Super Bowl victory. There’s also a video of a brave man taking down the shooter.
